In Chemicals, the company manufactures Soda Ash (Anhydrous Sodium Carbonate) that is a major raw material for Detergents & Glass industries and Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda). The manufacturing facility of our Soda Ash plant is located at Sutrapada, in the state of Gujarat, India.

GHCL Limited, being one of the leading manufacturers of Soda Ash in India, has a production capacity of 9,50,000 MTPA, and currently expansions are on to attain a production capacity of 1,100,000 MTPA. Our Soda Ash is available across the Indian market under the brand name ‘LION’.
