Bajaj supported Social Inclusion & Inclusive Education programme are being implemented in Mandla and Raisen districts with the following activities:

• Two-day orientation was organized for the people with disabilities on the formation of the organization of the People with Disability. It was attended by 120 people with disabilities who learnt the importance and key components of the RPWD Act, 2016 and the importance of the process of registration, structure and functioning of the OPD. The people with disabilities understood that OPD as a platform to express their interests and speak about their rights so that it would strengthen them as people group and institutionalize them to become strong socially and politically. Mr. Manoj Batham, Deputy Director, Social Justice department, Mr. M Raja, District Program manager-NRLM, Block manager from Silwani Mr. Rakesh Kushwaha and Ms. Gunjan, Microfinance officer also enriched the programme with their presence and encouraged the PWDS to extend support and maximum benefits through SHG approach.
• In Raisen district, newly identified 120 people with disabilities were oriented towards OPD formation & operational plans for forming OPD in the district. This was followed by 3 days vision building workshop for the selected 59 members of DPO where they were sensitized towards 21 types of disabilities, Rights and entitlements of people with disabilities etc
• One day Sensitisation workshop was organised on inclusion of disability issues in wider development agenda for 45 persons representing various Government officials such as health, women and child development, department of industry, NGOs, media, Police and Social Justice Department participated in the workshop.
