Priya & Anjali's story

Priya and Anjali, are visually impaired girls living in Hoshangabad district, Madhya Pradesh. They were identified under the Sightsavers Inclusive Education Programme and were provided with Braille, ICT based, self-defense Judo training. They participated in various national and state level Para Judo competitions. Owing to their tremendous skill and efforts they were selected for Judo world Championship to be held at Baku, Azarbaijan.

They’ve also been selected in the world ranking list to participate in Para Asian games in Hangzhou, China in Feb 2023 and Paralympic games in Paris, France in 2024. Congratulations girls!
